Last week's adventures:
We had a fun weekend eating shish kabobs and homemade ice cream. Joe was in charge of the date and the food was delicious. We actually had enough shish kabobs left over for dinner yesterday as well- they were very filling.
I thought I'd give you a quick update on Addie- she will be 5 months on the 21st! (technically she's 5 months tomorrow but from here on out I'll be counting every 21st of the month because it's too hard to remember how many weeks old she is). We can't believe how quickly she's growing. She makes all sorts of cute sounds, can hold toys and bring them to her mouth, and rolled over for the first time last week. She hasn't rolled since, but my friends told me that their kids took a while after the first roll to repeat it. Addie also had her 2nd round of shots this week and was miserable that evening. She screamed for 2 hours straight- we held her, danced around the room with her, rocked her, etc, etc, etc. We gave her some orajel and tylenol as well since she is getting two teeth already. This teething thing is interfering with her naps- she wakes up after 20-30 minutes. Other than being really tired she's doing good. She even stays pleasant most of the time. Addie is such a blessing to us.
